Which matte chrome security rosette fits your front door?

A matte chrome security rosette protects your cylinder against mechanical attack and core pulling. The semi-matte finish pairs well with modern front doors in grey or anthracite, and with homes where glossy chrome would be too striking. We stock Intersteel versions with SKG3 and core pulling protection.

Matte chrome security rosette

A matte chrome security rosette protects your front door cylinder against core pulling and breakage. The semi-matte finish has a calm appearance and pairs well with grey or anthracite front doors where high gloss would be too pronounced. We carry Intersteel models with the SKG3 certification and core pulling protection.

What does a security rosette do?

The rosette is located around the cylinder on the outside of the door. Due to its solid construction and steel core, it prevents a burglar from pulling the cylinder out of the lock with pliers or a crowbar. A security rosette or security escutcheon is mandatory for an insurance-compliant SKG3 front door.

Why matte chrome?

Matte chrome shows fingerprints less readily than high gloss and appears more subtle. The finish remains beautiful on both synthetic and wooden front doors and pairs well with modern frames. Would you prefer a high gloss finish? Then take a look at the chrome security escutcheons.

Combine with cylinder and matching fittings

The rosette works best with an SKG-certified cylinder. Choose from our cylinders, for example, a DOM Plura or M&C Matrix. For a complete set with doorknob and backplate, view the front door hardware.
