You choose a furniture handle for wider or heavier drawers and doors where you need more pulling force, and a knob for light doors and narrow drawers. A handle simply offers more grip: handy for a base cabinet full of pots and pans or a heavy clothes drawer.
For a calm look, you can also play with the distribution: for wide drawers over 80 cm, two shorter handles or one long handle often look best, while narrow doors with a single knob appear refined.
Which furniture hardware suits your kitchen?
For the kitchen, you often choose kitchen handles on the drawers and knobs or short handles on the cabinet doors. Match the shape and color to your kitchen style: sleek and black or stainless steel for a modern kitchen, brass or bronze for a warm, classic atmosphere.

How do you measure the right size?
For handles, the drilling distance (the center-to-center measurement between the screw holes) is the determining factor; measure this accurately when replacing an existing handle so that the new one fits the same holes. For knobs, look mainly at the thread and the length relative to the thickness of your door or drawer.
