Dulimex front door hardware

Do you want to reliably secure your entrance at a fair price? Dulimex front door hardware includes complete SKG*** security fittings with core pull protection and knob fittings. On this page, you will discover what the certifications mean, what sizes are available, and how to combine them with a lock and cylinder. Read on!

Why choose Dulimex front door hardware?

You choose Dulimex front door hardware when you want to reliably secure your entrance at a fair price. The complete front door fittings feature an SKG*** certification and core pull protection, ensuring your home meets the requirements of the Police Security Mark for Safe Living. With Dulimex, you bring certified quality into your home without the price of a designer brand.

Because the hardware is supplied as a complete set, you can be sure that all parts are coordinated. This way, you secure your front door properly in one go, without having to combine individual parts.

What do SKG*** and core pull protection mean?

The SKG*** quality mark means that the hardware has been independently tested and offers resistance to a severe burglary attempt for at least five minutes. Three stars is the highest level and is recommended for front doors and homes with stricter insurance requirements. Core pull protection means that a hardened steel element shields the cylinder, so that a burglar cannot pull the core out of the lock.

This combination protects the most vulnerable point of your lock: the cylinder. Moreover, the presence of certified hardware deters many burglars from a distance. Always check exactly what level your insurer requires.

What versions are available?

You can choose from complete security front door fittings in sizes PC55, PC72, and PC92, in a straight or oval shape, plus fixed knob fittings on backplates. The straight and oval variants complement the style of your front door, while the knob fittings create a more classic look.

The versions are available in F1 aluminium and black, among others. Combine the fittings with your Dulimex locks or view the complete Dulimexrange.

How do you choose the right PC size?

You choose the correct PC size based on the distance between the center of the handle or knob and the center of the cylinder. In standard residential construction, this is often 72 mm (PC72), but depending on your door and lock, it can also be 55 or 92 mm. This measurement must match that of your lock exactly, otherwise the hardware will not fit.

When replacing, measure the PC dimension of your existing fittings or lock so that the new set fits. Unsure? Our specialists will be happy to help you determine the correct size.

How do you combine front door hardware with a lock and cylinder?

It is best to combine front door hardware with an SKG-approved lock and a matching cylinder, so that the hardware, lock, and cylinder form a seamless whole. The anti-core pulling protection in the hardware protects the cylinder, while a good cylinder itself offers protection against drilling and core pulling.

Match the length of the cylinder to the thickness of your door and the hardware so that it does not protrude too far. View our collection of Dulimex locks. Our specialists will be happy to put together a complete, secure package for you.
