Maintenance of bronze back door hardware
Back door hardware is exposed to the elements. Clean once a month with a microfiber cloth and lukewarm water; for fingerprints, use a drop of neutral soap. Avoid scouring pads, ammonia, acetone , and copper or brass polish. These damage the PVD coating. In coastal locations (≤ 10 km from the sea), wipe down monthly with fresh water. Lubricate the cylinder with lock graphite once a year.
